TRANS-EUROPE EXPRESS

Megatron seeks out the Turkish wise man Abdul Ben-Faisal from Istanbul in order to discover the whereabouts of the Pearl of Bahoudin. The old man tells Megatron where he can find the Pearl, but Megatron requires an archeologist to find the artifact's precise location.

Meanwhile, in Paris, France a charity race called the Europa 5000, stretching from Paris to Istanbul begins. Several Autobots are sent to guard racer Auggie Kinay and his experimental car from Simultech Industries, because the engine is made from an experimental alloy.

In Istanbul, the Decepticons abduct an archaeologist, Professor Terranova, who discovers the location of the Pearl. He escapes while Megatron is busy ordering the Stunticons to destroy an Autobots that they find approaching Istanbul.

The Stunticons surround and attack Sunstreaker and Sideswipe in Austria, knocking them out of the race. Wheeljack is crushed by Motormaster in Turkey. Smokescreen is wrecked, while Bluestreak rides on top of Wildrider. Wildrider ditches Bluestreak in a forest, where Bluestreak discovers Professor Terranova.

Tracks and Bumblebee hide from the Stunticons while Bluestreak informs them about the Pearl of Bajoudin. The Stunticons receive new orders to capture Auggie Kinay's car, which they do with ease.

Bluestreak finds Auggie on the roadside and they team up to stop the Decepticons. Blustreak, Tracks, Bumblebee and Augie drive through the finish line and continue of to the location of the Pearl. They arrive just as Megatron uncovers the Pearl.

Megatron reveals that the Pearl of Bahoudin was originally the core of a Decepticon Weather Control Device which had been lost for centuries. The alloys from Auggie's car would be used to recreate the device.

Bumblebee grabs the Pearl and activates it's weather controlling powers, causing a huge lightning storm and tornado. Megatron orders Menasor to destroy the Autobots and retreats, while the storm rages out of control. Augie crashes his car into Menasor's face, which gives Bumblebee a chance to destroy the Pearl.

With the Pearl destroyed the calm weather returns. The Autobots and Auggie deduce that the whole race was a sham for Megatron to get his hands on Auggie's car, so they use the Pearl's golden casing to supplement the money for Charity.
