The humans celebrate and honor their supposed new friends, the Decepticons, with parades and other public events, and the Decepticons play along, while Spike, with the video that exposes the Decepticons, is pursued by Ravage.

Inside the Autobot Spacecraft, the Autobots begins to show dissension towards Optimus, but Optimus decides to return to Earth, but they cannot because of Megatron's changes to their trajectory and destroyed their comlink to Teletran One. Hound surmises that they are on a direct course for the Sun, and Cosmos is unable to change their course. The Autobots begin to overheat, as the ship disintegrates in the Solar Wind. Megatron and Berger watch as the spacecraft is destroyed.

After witnessing the destruction of the Ship, Megatron holds a press conference where he announces his true plans for Earth: conquest of its energy and enslavement of the humans. No one is able to resist the Decepticons as they go on a spree of destruction and Megatron renames Central City as Megatronia One. Berger snaps and screams that there is no hope, for he has seen the destruction of the Autobots. The populace of the city is all enslaved and forced to work in Energon Factories.

In space, the Autobots draw even nearer to the sun, but they are protected by Trailbreaker's Force Field. Cosmos states that he cannot navigate back to Earth, because his guidance system is still under Teletran One's control.

In the Energon Plant, Spike helps Chip escape by causing a distraction. Chip hides in a truck and rides until he is near the Autobot Volcano. Inside the Autobot base, Chip accesses Teletran One, but Thrust bursts in and destroys Teletran One. Thrust takes Chip back to the slave camp.

Cosmos, freed from Teletran One's control changes course for Earth.

The Decepticons are socked when the Autobots return to shut down their slave operation and force the Decepticons out of Central City. Berger is taken to answer for his own crimes.
