HOIST GOES HOLLYWOOD

While driving down a dirt road, Carly, Spike and Hoist spot two speeding cars, which turn out to be stunt cars for a movie. Hoist rescues the drivers from a cliff after an accident and the Director decides that he can use Hoist in his film along side the big stars Harold Edsel and Karen Fishhook.

Meanwhile Dirge, carrying a device stolen from Wheeljack's Cybertronian Workshop, crashes into a swamp in the middle of the Movie Studio. Megatron sends Astrotrain, Thrust and Ramjet to rescue Dirge.

As Hoist prepares for his Theatrical Debut, Powerglide, Warpath, Tracks and Sunstreaker try to get the Director's attention and successfully get cast in the film as well. They soon tire of the bit parts that they have as stunt vehicles and talk the Director into giving them bigger parts as "Evil Alien Robots" (complete with goofy green faces).

While the Decepticons remove Dirge and his cargo, but they are filmed by the Director and their crew. Megatron orders the Decepticons to find the film and destroy it before the Autobots find out that they have it.

Megatron reprimands Starscream for stealing the film, but forgetting the negatives while the Autobots continue to ham it up on camera.

Carly and Spike try to keep the Negatives away from the Decepticons and are chased through the Movie Lots. Hoist concocts a plan to get the Decepticons to leave. Hoist dangles Spike, Carly and the Negatives over a vat of "Flesh Eating Lava". To prove that he's not bluffing, Hoist drops them into the vat.

Believing the Humans and the Negatives to be destroyed, Megatron and the Decepticons withdraw.

Wheeljack views the film and laughingly announces that the stolen device was a worthless piece of junk that never worked, so Megatron's efforts to procure and conceal it were wasted.
