TRAITOR

The Decepticons steal the experimental Electrocells, but are careful due to the Electrocells volatile nature.

Back at Autobot Base, Cliffjumper locates the stolen Electrocells in an area that Mirage had scouted the day before. Cliffjumper accuses Mirage of covering for the Decepticons. The Autobots attempt to retake the Electrocells. During the battle, Mirage rips off one of Skywarp's insignias.

The Insecticons arrive and turn the tide in Megatron's favor, but Shrapnel fires at Cliffjumper and accidentally shoots some of the Electrocells. Megatron keeps them from exploding, while the Autobots retreat.

Cliffjumper is sent to watch the Electrocells, in case Megatron tries to relocate them. Meanwhile, Mirage sneaks into the Insecticons' lair, steals their Energon Cubes, and leaves Skywarp's insignia, to incriminate Megatron. Mirage then drives to the Decepticon Electrocell Base with the Energon Cubes.

Cliffjumper sees Mirage and thinks that Mirage is collaborating with the Decepticons, when the Insecticons arrive. Megatron and Starscream spot and fire upon Mirage, but the Insecticons think that they are being attacked, so they return fire. The Decepticons and Insecticons fight it out as Mirage watches and laughs.

Mirage is hit by Shrapnel accidentally and become visible, He is captured by the Insecticons and Bombshell implants a Cerebro Shell into his head, making Mirage their slave.

Cliffjumper reports what he's seen to Optimus and the Autobots move out to investigate, while the Insecticons and Mirage continue their attack against the Decepticons. Bombshell and Megatron face off and they figure out that Mirage set them against each other. They cease hostilities, and plan to use Mirage to trap the Autobots.

The Autobots arrive and are greeted by Mirage. Mirage tells Prime that he caused the Decepticons and Insecticons to fight and they had left the Electrocells unguarded. As Mirage leads the Autobots to the Decepticon Base, the Decepticons and Insecticons, as well as Mirage ambush them. Cliffjumper knocks Mirage out of commission.

Ratchet saves Mirage from Bombshell and removes the Cerebro Shell, freeing him from Insecticon control. Optimus rushes in for the Electrocells, and the Autobots surround Megatron, so Megatron destroys the Electrocells. Everyone retreats the exploding base, as Megatron lays among the wreckage.

Back at the Volcano, Cliffjumper apologizes to Mirage, as he recuperates from his wounds.
