DINOBOT ISLAND: Part 1

Bumblebee and Powerglide go to investigate some strange energy waves when they discover an island populated by Dinosaurs and other primitive reptiles. They report their discovery to Optimus back at the Volcano.

Wheeljack has Grimlock do a demonstration of his newly acquired skills and control. The other Dinobots hear Blaster's music and come in and begin to wreck everything Red Alert and Inferno put out the fires, but the Dinobots keep stumbling around and trashing the base. Optimus upon Bumblebee's suggestion, sends the Dinobots to the newly discovered island, to practice and learn to control their powers.

Surrepticiously, Ravage spies upon the Autobots, and Soundwave reports to Megatron about the island. Laserbeak follows Powerglide, Spike and the Dinobots to the island. Spike names it Dinobot Island, which pleases the Dinobots. Spike, and Laserbeak, notice that Dinobot Island is full of raw sources of energy.

Spike wanders away from the group and is nearly devoured by a Dimorphodon, when Swoop saves him. Spike continues to look around and is nearly eaten by a Plesiosaur, but Sludge and Swoop save him, again. Spike decides that he's ready to go home, so he and Powerglide leave the Dinobots on Dinobot Island.

Meanwhile, Laserbeak shows Megatron the energy resources on Dinobot Island, and the Decepticons leave to gather its energy. As the Dinobots hone their skills, Swoop spies the Decepticons gathering energy so the Dinobots attack.

Elsewhere, Spike and Bumblebee leave a library, when a portal opens in the street and barbarians riding Mammoths come through and begin assaulting the city.

Back on Dinobot Island, Megatron stampedes a herd of dinosaurs toward the Dinobots, forcing them over a cliff and into a tar pit. The Dinobots sink beneath the depths and are seen no more.
