GRIMLOCK'S NEW BRAIN

The Autobots celebrate the replacement of the Power Core. As they inaugurate the new Power Generator at Power Platform Alpha, a Scukzoid and Slizardo place Anti-Electrons in the generator, which causes the Autobots to malfunction. Teletran 2 deduces that anti-electrons in the Master Power Generator are the cause of the problem. Perceptor gives Rodimus an ElectroMap device to guide guide him and his companions, Ultra Magnus, kup & Grimlock through the maze of underground tunnels, to the Master Power Generator. Grimlock breaks the ElectroMap, so they split up into teams: Rodimus & Ultra Magnus go one way, while Kup & Grimlock go another. Grimlock seems unaffected by the Anti-Electrons, while the other 3 Autobots begin to malfunction. Grimlock bites the Master Power Generator's computer cables and is thrown back in a power surge.

Grimlock gains super-intelligence from the accident, and gets the Autobots out of several of the traps found in the tunnels. Grimlock figures out that the Anti-Electrons originated from Unicron, and builds a shuttle that will take them there, to keep the Decepticons can get more Anti-Electrons.

On Charr, Galvatron shrieks at the Scukzoid & Slizardo because the Anti-Electrons dissipated when the generator was shut down. Fearing for his life, the Scukzoid tells Galvatron that more can be found in Unicron's Brain. Galvatron leads Cyclonus, Scourge, the Sweeps and the Terrorcons on an expedition to his former master's head.

The Decepticons attack Grimlock's shuttle and force the Autobots to crash onto Unicron's head. The Autobots, except for Grimlock, begin to malfunction again from further Anti-Electron attacks. Grimlock leaves the Autobots and delves into Unicron's head. There he creates the Technobots: Nosecone, Strafe, Lightspeed, Afterburners and their leader, Scattershot. Grimlock leads them into Unicron's brain, just as Scourge and Cyclonus accidentally awaken Unicron while gathering more Anti-Electrons, who uses his internal defenses to attack the trespassers.

The Technobots, immune to the Anti-Electrons, battle the Terrorcons, but retreat when the Terrorcons merge into the giant Abominus. Grimlock instructs the Technobots that they, too, can form a giant called Computron, a supercomputing gestalt. They form Computron, and Grimlock transfers his super-intelligence to Computron. Grimlock reverts back to his less intelligent self, while Computron uses his newfound genius to defeat the Decepticons.
