ONLY HUMAN

A crime syndicate run by Victor Drath blows up several buildings in order to cause a diversion so that they may be able to steal a volatile substance known as Newtronium. The Autobots foil their heist and send the thugs running. Drath decides that the Autobots must be taken care of, so he contacts Ol' Snake, an aging Cobra Commander, to procure Cobra's old Synthoid Technology. Synthoid Technology could make artificial humans and even duplicates of existing persons out of synthetic materials.

Drath sets a trap for the Autobots and captures Rodimus Prime, Arcee, Springer & Ultra Magnus. He then transfers their Lasercores into synthoid bodies, which he orders to be destroyed. Ol' Snake convinces Drath to use the Autobots' bodies as tools to further his criminal operations.

The Autobots, now in "human" bodies escape from their execution, and realize their new limitations. Arcee & Ultra Magnus split off to contact Autobot City, while Rodimus & Springer try to find out how Drath made them into humans, and if it could be reversed.

Drath's thugs search for the escaped Autobots, while Drath and Ol' Snake prepare the Autobot's bodies for their own purposes. Rodimus is chased by Drath's security force and is wounded. Drath's wife, Michelle hides him, not realizing who he is.

Elsewhere, Springer see Drath's thugs travelling in their robot bodies. The operator of his robot body can't quite control it, so Springer offers to help, since he "operates heavy equipment". The other occupant of his bodie obliges happily, since they need a quick getaway.

Arcee and Ultra Magnus have little luck contacting the police about their predicament, and decide to see what Drath is storing in his warehouses. They find bombs, weapons and ammunition, but accidentally set off the silent alarm. They soon see their Robot bodies burst through the warehouse door to attack them. Ultra Magnus uses the artillery in the warehouse to keep their robot bodies at bay, while Arcee steals a motorcycle from Drath's goons and heads straight toward Autobot City. The human police in Autobot City don't believe Arcee's claims that she's really an Autobot, and drag her off to a psychiatrist.

Back in Drath's estate Michelle pretends to help Rodimus, but leads him to a trap, where Drath & Ol' Snake wait for him. Drath explains that he is sending their bodies into Autobot City full of explosives, to destroy the rest of the Autobots and prevent retaliation from them.

Springer, operating his own body, discovers the plan, throws the Goon out of his cockpit and rescues Ultra Magnus. They fly in above the bodies of other other 3 Autobots and fire upon Metroplex, to keep Drath's thugs from entering the city. Under heavy fire, Drath's men abandon the Autobots' bodies.

Soon afterward, Perceptor uses the Synthoid Technology to tranfer the Autobots' Lasercores back into their robot forms, as Drath and his people are taken off by the police.

As the police drive off into the distance, Ol' Snake looks on, laughs and shouts "COOOO-BRAAA*cough**cough*"
