STARSCREAM'S GHOST

Exiled from the Decepticons for his attempt to usurp Galvatron, Octane works shipping items from the Junkions, until an assassination attempt by a Scuckzoid mercenary puts him out of business. He seeks sanctuary with the Autobots in return for information, where he is befriended by Sandstorm. They're ambushed by the Combaticons near Autobot City, so they escape and head to Cybertron in an Autobot shuttle. During a pitstop at a space station, Octane is again accosted by the Scuckzoid merc. Octane captures the alien assassin and discovers that Galvatron has set a bounty on his head. On Cybertron, Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps sneak past the Autobot defenses and chase Octane across the sky. Octane hides in the Decepticon crypt, hoping that the superstitious and cowardly Sweeps won't follow, but Cyclonus' threats coax the fearful Decepticons into the tomb. While in the crypt, Octane is approached by the disembodied Lasercore of Starscream, who has somehow survived his body's destruction at Galvatron's hands. Starscream offers to help Octane out of his problem if Octane will help Starscream get revenge on Galvatron, to which Octane agrees. Lured by Octane, Cyclonus moves deep into the tomb and is possessed by Starscream's lasercore. Starscream then pretends to apprehend Octane, and the Decepticons attempt to leave Cybertron with their captive. Kup detects the Decepticons, and alerts the Autobots. Cornered by the Autobots, Starscream reveals himself and his motives to Rodimus Prime, hatching a plan with the Autobot leader and effecting their escape to Charr. Back on Charr, Starscream feigns interrogation upon Octane, gaining information from him that leads Galvatron to a trap set by the Autobots. Rodimus Prime engages Galvatron in hand-to-hand combat, but Galvatron soon is surrounded by Autobot forces, and abandoned by Octane & Cyclonus (Starscream). Later, as Starscream & Octane laugh about their victory on Charr, Galvatron, damaged, but alive, returns and blasts Cyclonus after Starscream reveals himself. Starscream's lasercore leaves Cyclonus' body before Galvatron's blast hits his host body. Galvatron orders for Cyclonus to be repaired, and the call is answered by Scourge, who is now possessed by Starscream.
