FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN

While following Starscream and Thundercracker, Trailbreaker and Brawn witness the Decepticons stealing metal. Brawn and Trailbreaker are unable to stop the Decepticons, so they report back to Optimus about the altercation. A SkySpy is sent out to monitor for Decepticon activity.

Meanwhile, Megatron enters an ancient Incan Pyramid in Peru and removes the Crystal of Power, channeling the power of Earth's Core into a Cannon. Laserbeak detects the SkySpy, and Megatron blasts it out of orbit with the new weapon. The weapon frame was too weak to bear the power from the Crystal, and was in need of replacement in order to work properly. Megatron leaves the Jets to guard the Crystal while he , Reflector, Rumble, Laserbeak and Soundwave depart for new materials.

In the Arctic, Sideswipe and Wheeljack dig up and revive Skyfire from his icy prison. Skyfire picked up Brawn and Windcharger and carried them to the Andes Mountains in South America, in search of the Decepticons. Brawn and Windcharger engage Megatron and his party, and quickly discover that they've bitten off more than they can chew. Skyfire swoops in and rescues them before any serious damage is done to the Autobots, and they report their findings to Optimus Prime.

The Autobots assault the Decepticons' metal gathering attempts while, Skyfire infiltrates the Pyramid. Brawn blasts Megatron with his own Fusion Cannon, while Bumblebee and Spike save a Peruvian girl. She leads the Autobots to the Pyramid, where the Decepticons have their new weapon set up. Ravage follows Bumblebee, Spike and the girl, while Skyfire approaches the Decepticon Cannon. Skyfire is discovered by Thundercracker, who is hesitant to stop him, because Starscream would take all of the credit. Starscream overhears Thundercracker, blasts Skyfire, and threatens to report Thundercracker to Megatron for treachery if he failed to obey him.

Megatron and his party escape with all of the metal that they need, and distract the Autobots by causing an avalanche to fall upon a small village.

Megatron arrives just as Starscream and Thundercracker pull Skyfire into the pyramid. Bumblebee and Spike find and repair Skyfire, as the Decepticons build the new cannon.

Megatron fires upon the Autobots as they encircle the Pyramid. Inside, Skyfire saves Bumblebee from Ravage and they join the fray. Skyfire destroys the cannon and the Crystal before Megatron can fire it upon Prime. The Decepticons retreat, as Megatron swears revenge.

Wheeljack caps off the energy rising through the Pyramid with one of his inventions and everyone returns home.
