REBIRTH: Part 3

The Autobot Headmasters and Targetmasters, led by Optimus Prime, fight against the giant Hive Scorpion-Robot, Scorponok. Scorponok captures Arcee, Daniel and the Key to the Plasma Energy Chamber. The Decepticon Headmasters and Targetmasters get on board Scorponok, who then transforms back into his city-mode and blasts off for Cybertron. Optimus Prime and the Autobots board the shuttle for Cybertron, except for Spike and Cerebros, who remain behind to devise a plan to stop the Hive's new super-robot.

Back on Cybertron, Ultra Magnus and the Autobots on Cyvertron battles Galvatron and the Decepticons, as Galvatron has gigantic rocket engines constructed to move Cybertron towards Earth. Scorponok arrives and, much to Galvatron's displeasure, the bonding between Decepticons and organic Hive Nebulans is revealed. Galvatron agrees to work with the Hive for now, since Zarak has the Plasma Energy Chamber and controls Scorponok. The Decepticons defeat the Autobots on Cybertron, and begin using their bodies to fuel the Rocket Engines.

In space, Optimus Prime and the Autobots with him discover that Cybertron has been moved and seek it at Galvatron's other main target: Earth. They arrive and find the Autobots defeated. They break into Scorponok, but are captured.

On Nebulos, Cerebros leads Spike to the city he found. Spike discovers that it is the city that the Hive dwelt in before they developed the ability to control machines with their mind. He uses the city's computers to use the Hive Machines to rebuild the Hive's old city into an Autobot giant/battle station named Fortress Maximus. Spike becomes Cerebros' Headmaster, then Cerebros becomes the Headmaster of Fortress Maximus. Fortress Maximus arrives and battles Scorponok. Scorpnok then transforms into a humanoid robot-mode to attack Fortress Maximus. Fortress Maximus follows suit and the titans battle. The Giants resume their battle station modes and fire volley after volley of missiles and lasers upon each other, allowing Spike to separate and rescue Daniel, Arcee, Optimus Prime and the other Autobots captured inside. Meanwhile Galvatron activates the Plasma Energy Chamber with the Key and returns to Scorponok.

As Scorponok lifts off it is hit with a blast of Plasma Energy and catapulted far across the galaxy. The Plasma Energy spread across Cybertron, deactivating all of the Autobots and causing the Humans and Nebulans to abandon their exosuits. The Energy spreads into space and begins to make the Sun go nova.

Spike leads the Nebulan rebels to the Rocket engines, which they work to convert into energy siphons. The Siphons drain the excess solar energy, returning the Sun to normal, while Spike shuts down the Plamsa Energy Chamber. The excess energy is funnelled down to Vector Sigma, where it is redistrubuted throughout Cybertron, revitalizing the planet and the Autobots. The planet lights up and glows brightly as a new Golden Age begins on Cybertron.

The Autobot Headmasters and Targetmasters leave for Nebulos, to free the planet from the remnants of the Hive's evil, while the Decepticons and the Hive fly through space uncontrollably aboard Scorponok, far, far from Cybertron and Earth.
